Breastfeeding and follow-up unit

If you go home from the Baby unit within 72 hours, you are offered a follow-up visit to the breastfeeding and follow-up unit. We take a PKU test and weigh the baby. We look while you breastfeed and there is time for questions that have arisen at home.

If you have problems or questions about breastfeeding, you are welcome to get in touch with us. Relatives and nursing staff are also welcome to contact us.

Midwives and doctors work here. If you call us, we will give you advice or book an appointment to visit us:

We are open:

  • weekdays from 8am to 4pm, telephone 0470-58 84 20
  • evenings/nights and weekends, telephone 0470-58 80 08

You can find us at Baby/Delivery on the 3rd floor.

The visit is free of charge.
